| About Us | We started showing dogs in American
Kennel Club sanctioned dog shows in 1997. Our first Golden Retriever bitch,
Sugar was bred by Kelly Shuffelbottom (Honeybear Kennels). A few years later we
bought our second show quality Golden Retriever, Jack, bred by Julie MacKinnon
(Nautilus Golden Retrievers). Both recieved their Championship in the same year.
After her championship, we bred Sugar (Ch. Honeybear's Golden Sugar Cooky) to
Ch. Justmoor Southern Renagade. We had a beautiful litter of six (shown above).
Ch. Baybreez Honeybear Sometimes "Brit" (owned by K. Shuffelbottom/L.Zimmerman)
earned a championship title and was also a very talented junior showmanship dog.
After Jack finished he began his "Special" dog career. He had much sucess in the
Best of Breed ring, and became a Top 20 Golden Retriever. Since then we have been blessed with many wonderful Golden Retrievers. Jamie Campbell also had a very sucessful career in Junior Showmanship, becoming the #1 Golden Retriever Handler, #1 Sporting Dog Handler, #6 Junior All Breed in the year 2005. Her junior career ended in 2006, and she is now handling professionally. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our Breeding Program | Golden Retrievers All of our sires and dams meet the guidelines set by the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA). These guidelines include an hip clearance from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), an eye clearance from a certified veternarian and a heart clearence from a certified veternarian. We absolutely do not breed to any stud dogs who do not have these three clearances. English Setters All of our sires and dams meet the guidelines set by the English Setter Association of America (ESAA).
